Darkness to Light Sexual Abuse Prevention Training

One in 10 children will be the victim of child sexual abuse before their 18^th birthday. For those with disabilities the vulnerability is even higher. At Bridge II Sports we are committed to preventing child sexual abuse. All staff, board members and lead volunteers are required to complete Darkness To Light training.

Darkness To Light is a nationally recognized program that brings awareness to child sexual abuse. It empowers people to identify the signs of abuse and take action in preventing it.

On Monday June 6 we are inviting anyone from our Bridge II Sports community and beyond to join us for this very important training. Parents, teachers, care providers…anyone who plays a role in the life of a child should consider making this a priority to attend.

The $15 fee covers the training costs and take-home workbook. Participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Note: due to the content of the training participants must be a minimum of 18 years old
